Accelerator Lab is only open to those directors who have had their short selected for screening at MIFF. When submitting a short film for screening consideration, potential Accelerator Lab candidates are encouraged to include with their screening submission an expression of interest in the workshop along with their CV and a short write-up on their upcoming projects. Predominantly Australian or New Zealander directors who have a short film selected for competition at MIFF and are ready to make the step into feature filmmaking. The selection of Accelerator Lab participants by the MIFF programming team will commence once the MIFF shorts programme is finalised by mid-June.

Accelerator Lab is not open for applications. Filmmakers can express their interest by sending their CV and a short write-up on their upcoming projects when they submit their short films for MIFF programming consideration. Final decisions about the selection of Accelerator Lab participants will be at the discretion of the MIFF programmers.
